Product details

What the brace does

The brace wraps around the rear hock. Four straps adjust the fit, anti-slip silicone helps reduce movement, and a removable pad adds soft external support.

Anti-slip silicone lining, adjustable straps, and removable support pad

Adjusts with four straps

Set the straps evenly around the lower rear leg. Anti-slip silicone helps reduce movement when the size and placement are correct.

Supports the hock, not the knee

NobleHound supports the rear hock below the knee. It does not replace a knee orthotic, surgery, or veterinary care.

How it works

Measure, fit, and supervise

  1. 01

    Confirm the joint

The brace belongs around the rear hock - the angled joint above the paw - not the knee.

  2. 02

    Measure the standing leg

Use all three measurements. Breed and body weight alone cannot predict fit.

  3. 03

    Fit the brace and supervise

Check position, skin, comfort, paw temperature, and gait during the first sessions.

Straight answers

Frequently asked questions

Is this a knee or ACL/CCL brace?

No. NobleHound supports the rear hock below the knee. It is not a hinged knee orthotic and cannot stabilize a torn ACL or CCL by itself.

How do I choose a size?

Measure the standing leg above the hock, below the hock, and vertically between those points. Compare all three measurements with the size chart.

What if the brace slips?

Recheck size, height, placement, strap tension, and silicone cleanliness. Reposition it instead of overtightening one strap.

Can my dog wear it unattended?

New brace use should be supervised. Remove it if it shifts, causes rubbing, changes gait, or your dog tries to chew it.
